Customer review privacy

Wire Master Electricals uses the details you provide to receive and verify your review, acknowledge your submission by email and prevent misuse of the form. Your email address is not added to a marketing list.

What we collect

Your name, email, property postcode, contact source, optional work date and invoice or quotation reference, rating, review and publication permission. We keep a protected code derived from your IP address to limit spam and repeated submissions. A temporary, essential session cookie helps secure the form.

What we publish

Reviews are checked before publication. Only your agreed display name, rating and review text are intended for publication. Your email, postcode and job reference remain private. Please avoid including contact details or other private information in the review text.

Storage and retention

Private submission records are stored on our IONOS hosting and emailed to our business mailbox for verification. The website removes private records older than 90 days when the maintenance task runs. Submission-attempt records are kept for up to 24 hours before cleanup. We also review and delete verification copies in our mailbox after 90 days unless they are needed to resolve a query or meet a legal obligation. Approved reviews may remain on our website until removed.

Your choices

Publication is based on your permission. We rely on our legitimate interests in verifying genuine customer feedback, acknowledging it and preventing spam when processing the other details. To ask about your information, request correction or deletion, or withdraw publication permission, contact info@wiremasterelectricals.co.uk or call 07551 168103. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
